Your favorite drink can now be your favorite cupcake.  Neco's Cupcake Bar makes the perfect mini cupcake shots to feature at your next event.  The mini shots are bite sized cupcakes infused with alcohol. This is the perfect adult dessert for entertaining. This weekend I featured , Neco's Cupcake Bar, Peach Ciroc and Chocolate Absolut.

Red's Kitchen...

Everyone is in love with reality tv and competition such as cupcake wars, project runway and top chef.  Well, Hell's Kitchen is one of my favorites and I was responsible of creating an event that would include entertainment for a group of sorority sister.  Yes, I was included.  My line sisters agreed to compete for Red's Kitchen a mini version of Hell's Kitchen. You can create this same event with the following:
  • Chef Sequoia Ross
  • Sorority Sisters
  • 3 Judges (Presentation, Teamwork, Taste)
  • Venue
  • Rules, Prizes, Fun
There were 3 teams, which a team consisted of 2 individuals.  Each team was randomly picked through drawing of names.  Once the team was picked so was the culinary challenge of creating tapas. The challenge was to use recipes that were given by our Chef Sequoia Ross and present to the judges a theme of the sorority while displaying the element of sisterhood.

Rehearsal Dinner BBQ Idea

One of my brides stated that she always wanted to have a BBQ as a bridal shower.  This is a cost effective idea for any event.  Having a themed Bridal Shower, Wedding Rehearsal Dinner or Birthday Party can add such fun and invoke lots of participation for your guest. Limited menu such as:
  1. Pulled BBQ (mini sliders)
  2. Hotdogs
  3. Corn on the cob
  4. Coleslaw
  5. Baked Beans
  6. Sweet Tea/Lemonade
Have you added up the cost?  This is an excellent menu with a price tag of $10.00 or less per person, whether you have it catered or call all of the girls to pull this BBQ themed event off.

If you create this for a bridal shower.  Having women bring their famous BBQ recipes to the event is so personal. Giving the new bride a gift of recipes from her important women in her life adds such a dramatic effect to the overall event. Im always calling my mom, sister or BFF's mom for a recipe.
I just marvel at this idea & gift.
