Reflections: "Happy Birthday To Me"

Reflection {ri-flek-shuhn} : a fixing of the thoughts on something; careful consideration.: a thought occurring in consideration or meditation.

Today is my birthday and I am in reflection.  In meditation, study, deliberation about life, events and celebration.

Question of the day:  Have you celebrated your life? Or do you wait for others to celebrate your life?
I have been celebrating my life since I was in the womb and I never stopped.  Every birthday has been a memorable event and an event that was acknowledged by family and friends.

I have maintained continous friendships since the 4th grade, yes, I finally admit it Kenecko, its the 4th grade... My bestie and I met in 8th grade...secretly (I thought she was a teacher LOL).  Then you have college, sorority, boys and so forth.  These friends have been celebrating my life and all my special events for years...Today, I want to acknowledge your friendship, love and devotion.  So let's have a cocktail and blowout the candles for another year....Cause we like to Party...

Cause we like to party, hey hey hey

Cause we like to party, hey hey hey

Cause we like to party

Richmond, Virginia's Trendsetter Baker: KeshaJo Bakes

KeShaJo Bakes, is a cake studio owned and operated by artisan, Kendra Jordan.  KeShaJo Bakes provide signature cakes with a distinct flair that is quite impressive not only to the eye, but sends your taste buds salivating for more.  Savoy The Socialite is honored to be working with this extraordinary vendor.  I had the pleasure of meeting her at the Artisan Cafe.  Immediately, I was impressed by her presentation of her cakes and the taste of a Gabby Cake was absolutely amazing.  She will introducing a Moscato flavored cupcake to my
"Virginia Wives" Themed Birthday Party...

FYI: Did I mention that she was on The Great Baker.
Did I mention that Red Velvet is my absolute favorite. Yes, The cake is moist as it looks...
My father has an antique, refinishing and upholstery business.  So, I can appreciate this tufted sofa that is actually cake; it reminds me of a sofa that my BFF has from Crate & Barrell. Kendra's attention to details is amazing.  She made this cake for VCU but I must have her do a replica for my father's birthday.  He really could appreciate the artistic work and the taste.
Turkey with all of the trimmings.  But its cake. Instead of gravy...eat with ice cream..
As you can tell, she does not provide wedding cakes.  Grooms cakes and more but no wedding cakes..Sorry brides.

Sweet, Dear Bride...

The vision on these Ann Taylor wedding dresses say a few words to me, Sweet, Dear Bride. How lovely will a bride look walking down the aisle in either of these gowns.  These gowns speaks romantic, soft and elegant.  The simplicity of each dress makes a loud statement.
