Cocktail of The Month: ChocoVine

This weekend my girlfriend and her husband pleasured their friends & family with a wine tasting.

We had such a fabulous time tasting a selection of Reisling, Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec & More...

They also introduced an inexpensive, pleasurable, chocolate fan delight...Chocovine. 

Chocovine is a blend of red wine and chocolate.  Being a chocoholic myself, I was in complete heaven.

To all of the girls who are planning an after hour event, this is a taste palate pleaser. To all the guys, light the fire, burn the candles and pour her a glass...  

Try this recipe:

4 oz Chocovine

2 oz Pinnacle Whipped

Shake over ice and strain in a chilled martini glass

Top with a dollop of whipped cream & chocolate shavings

Serve with a chocolate dessert

Sneak Peak of Leah & Charles

Here is the story of  Leah & Charles: The couple met in 2009 but didn't begin to date until they met again in Fall 2010 and really got to know one another as they co-hosted a small group on "Building Relationships That Last", at the church they both attend regularly.  The couple had no idea that they were about to build their own relationship.  The theme of their wedding was "Rock Your Royalty", simply because they met at the biggest kingdom ever and that happen to be their church.  

The knight and shining armour that Queen Leah has finally waited for...

 I love the way she encouraged other to "rock their royalty" with wearing hats upon their crown of glory...

Library Themed Baby Shower for???

Savoy The Socialite love the idea of a babys book-themed shower where guests are asked to bring a favorite childhood book of theirs as their gift. This is a theme that we enjoy helping plan. The idea of helping build a library for a child is awesome.  My BFF is a book junkie and from time to time I may join her on this quest but, this theme reminds me of my mommy and I going to the library and how she read to me every night as a child.  These memories are lasting...
